The commissionable subtotal is the order amount a commission is calculated on: the post-discount merchandise subtotal in the store's currency, excluding tax and shipping, and reduced by refunds.

Not every dollar on an order is commissionable. Attribloom's Shopify basis is the post-discount merchandise subtotal, excluding tax and shipping. Discounts reduce the base, so the commission is on what the merchant actually collected for the goods, not the sticker price.
Worked examples make the rule concrete. On a 100.00 order with a 10.00 discount, 8.00 tax, and 5.00 shipping, the commissionable subtotal is 90.00, because tax and shipping are excluded and the discount is already applied. A partial refund reduces the base proportionally: refunding 45.00 of merchandise leaves 45.00 commissionable, and the matching share of commission is clawed back. Amounts are held on a double-entry ledger in integer minor units, so there is no rounding drift across currencies.
