SKAdNetwork
SKAdNetwork is Apple's privacy-preserving framework for attributing app installs to ad campaigns. It reports aggregated, delayed conversions with no user-level or device-level data.
SKAdNetwork is built for ad networks measuring paid install campaigns. It deliberately hides user-level detail and adds timing noise to protect privacy, which makes it coarse for anything beyond ad-campaign measurement.
Attribloom solves a different problem: crediting a specific affiliate for a specific conversion. It uses the StoreKit 2 appAccountToken, a deterministic value your own app sets, rather than SKAdNetwork's aggregated postbacks.
Frequently asked
Can SKAdNetwork attribute an affiliate link to a purchase?
Not at the level a commission needs. SKAdNetwork reports aggregated install data for ad campaigns, without the per-conversion, per-affiliate detail required to pay a specific affiliate.
