## Merchant checklist

Choose eligible products, commission basis, attribution signals, discount policy, hold period, refund treatment, approval rules, and disclosure expectations. Then connect Shopify, create a campaign and affiliate, and test one paid order plus one refund.

- Write the offer and exclusions.
- Choose discount-code, preserved-ref, or both attribution paths.
- Place and observe a paid test order.
- Refund all or part of it and confirm the proportional reversal.
- Give approved partners links, codes, product facts, and disclosure instructions.

## How Attribloom confirms sales

Attribloom verifies Shopify's signed paid-order and refund webhooks. It attributes through a validated discount code or a preserved ref order attribute, calculates commission on post-discount merchandise subtotal excluding tax and shipping, and reconciles refunds.

## What this does not do

Attribloom does not list your offer in a human-affiliate marketplace and does not auto-post creator content. You recruit and approve partners, and they publish their own promotions.

## Frequently asked

### What should I test before launch?

Test the exact link or code, a paid order, the attributed conversion, and a full or partial refund before inviting affiliates.
